“It’s joy of the small that can make life large. All wonder & worship can only grow out of small and humble things.”
There’s something to say about just looking for the small things that bring joy. I’m learning to purposefully look for JOY!
Being married to an avid hunter and fisherman, I am learning so much about the purposeful way one has to plan to fish or to hunt. There’s so much more than just grabbing your gear and heading out. When my sweet man is planning a hunting trip or a fishing trip, he takes his time to purposefully look for the best spots to find the elk, the deer, the fish. And it is the same way when you’re pursuing JOY.
“Just like a good fisherman, you’ve got to know where the ‘honey holes’ are, where JOY bites the most!!” ~Kelly Minter
So gifts of joy . . . purposefully look at the small and humble things!
