But the fruit of the Spirit is . . . PEACE . . . (Gal. 5: 22)
PEACE – Greek “to join in inner quietness, response regardless of circumstances.” I love what the above quote says, “peace. it does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. it means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.”
Peace is not —–
It is not a state of war within myself. Oh how the Enemy would love for me to be at war with myself. So as I walk through the troubles, the circumstances of my life, I have Peace because I have the One who gives me peace.
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:23
