intersections bring opportunity

This intersection is one crazy 4-way stop!  It’s really hard to describe because it’s two major streets coming together in an area of restaurants, boutiques, shops of all kinds, and even private residences… it is one busy, busy place seven days a week!  So needless to say, this intersection is a major opportunity for confusion {you’ve got a right turn lane, a lane to go straight [but it’s a curvy straight???],  a lane to turn left … and that’s just one of the 4 stop signs! On our strolls that we take around our {city} home, this intersection is one that we usually have to navigate.  We’ve seen so many near accidents, confused drivers/pedestrians, people who seem extremely “inconvenienced” by the need to stop  . . .  everyone seems to have their own agenda.

Sound familiar?  I’m thinking it sounds a lot like daily life.  Every single day, many times during the day, we face intersections.  Do I just plow ahead with barely a glance? Or do I keep my eyes open for a Divine Intersection?  Are these intersections an inconvenience in my day?  Do I choose my agenda over God’s?  “Ummmm…. not now, Lord.  I’ve got stuff to do!”  Ever noticed He is never too busy for us —– He never answers with a “Ummmmm …. not now.  I’ve got others to tend to.”  Nope – NEVER!

Do I procrastinate with God?

There’s a time to read your Bible and there’s a time to DO your Bible.

About beegee10

I am a follower of Jesus on the journey of discovering His real, lasting joy through God's grace and thanksgiving. Several years ago, I married my best friend, whom I met in kindergarten many years ago. Life choices took each of us on separate paths, but Divine Appointment brought our paths back together. It's exciting to share this journey with my sweet man - a man who loves God more than he loves me! What a gift!! As a young woman I prayed for God to send a godly man like my daddy to pursue me. I just wasn't listening and abiding when I should have been. Good news in HIS time and in HIS grace, HE did! Not only does my sweet man love me, but he loves my three grown kids as if they were his own. He shares their joys and he hurts when they hurt. I love to hear him pray for each of them daily as we begin and end our days. View all posts by beegee10
